A friend of mine just described going for a run this morning then being physically unable to have a meeting at a standing desk with no chair.
It weirdly made me think of social-exhaustion as an introvert. It’s not just that I can’t then use my thinking and feeling parts without ‘muscle pain’ internally, but also that in external communication those mental legs won’t move correctly anymore, regardless of how hard I stick them out and try to waggle them.
Metaphor broke down a bit there.
