Finally getting around to Better Call Saul and… ah, yep.
Without spoilers: there’s a short sequence in the season I’m currently watching which follows a person finding an unknown device, testing it, determining its purpose, and then repurposing the device—simultaneously resolving and opening up plotlines; developing character—all done not just without any explanatory dialogue, but without any dialogue whatsoever, and it is both clear and cinematic.
(You all already knew, of course)
