An Ork mini-onna-stick, against a background of wet palette and general painting detritus. An attempt has been made at a high-contrast, shiny, green skin. Green, yellow and purple airbrush overspray cover the rest of the surface.

Purple trousers and a darkly reflective belt gubbin (can’t be a buckle, it’s on the wrong side. And appears to have rivets) have been added, unnecessarily accentuating the backside.
Most of the remaining primed areas on the rear of the mini now have at least a base colour applied. It’s mainly browns for belt and boots, with a few small initial NMM attempts, including a shiny heel plate. The visible patches of metal cranium and gun barrel have been blacked out in preparation.
A side view of the Ork! Secret reveal that this was not a 2D standee all along. The photo quality isn’t great, but I’m trying to give the impression of two different metallics, ‘brass’ and ‘gunmetal’. Both started as sketchy monochrome, then colour washes. I think the brass might work with another contrast pass, but the ‘gunmetal’ barrel is an outright powdery-grey failure. Must try harder, A-.
More detail, both dark and bright, and secondary reflections have been added to the shell casings and the gun barrel. Still, the only thing you really notice in the shot is GREEEN. Perhaps, this is how it should be.
Imagine an awkward, tiny cuboid shape with inset areas and raised rivet features, imagine it pressed up against an expansive chest and shoulder’s worth of delicately blended skin that you _definitely_ don’t want to touch with either black or white paint, then imagine painting 1mm-wide black and white squares on it with a size 000 PAINT BRUSH, you fool.
