Two painting sessions in a single day, purely to appease @erikcats ‘s relentless whip-cracking! My knees won’t last. My ‘painting knees’*

I have though, quite literally, turned a corner.

A side view of the Ork! Secret reveal that this was not a 2D standee all along. The photo quality isn’t great, but I’m trying to give the impression of two different metallics, ‘brass’ and ‘gunmetal’. Both started as sketchy monochrome, then colour washes. I think the brass might work with another contrast pass, but the ‘gunmetal’ barrel is an outright powdery-grey failure. Must try harder, A-.
