Chasing ‘green’.

A much more ‘olive drab’ attempt at green via non-greens this time around, compared to the much more saturated look I tend to prefer. If I can get a vibrant enough red to contrast it maybe I’ll finally Blanchitsu something?

Tool assembly: plastic putty, plastic cement, lil plastic guy. Also: paints 👉
I’ll be using Pro Acryl Bold Titanium White, Citadel Mephiston Red, Dragon Fang and Death Reaper from Two Thin Coats.
The Mini is an Ork with one big metal hand and one little metal hand. He’s holding a gun that seems to have the same hairstyle as the dwarf I was painting previously. A cartoonishly-large eventually-metal jawbone obscures half his face.

Little tip-taps of light greys added to the metallic jaw, some bone colour to the teefs, and initial layers of dark desaturated red in the shadows of gun-hairdo and loincloth up to full Mephiston Red as the extreme highlight.
Sketchy blocking-in of leather jerkin, Obligatory Checkerboard & Triangles™️ on the pauldrons, and roughed-up bionic bits.
