Imperceptible little increments.

Some parts may be _slightly_ pinker, some slightly not as purple any more. Is dark red a possibility? Who amongst us can even say for sure? A surprising number of paint tubes (not even used here) and grip-tape-wrapped brushes are also visible. More than a normal number.

It’s a friendly space guy! Some arms are spread as though to welcome the viewer into a warm embrace, one is clutching the head of a pal, one is performing the pstandard psychic pstance. It is, for reasons of its own, also executing a Spider-Man squat on a handy bit of floor piping. It has a dark-purple basecoat of paint on its body, over black primer still visible on the pipe. The image has been meme-ified to include a ‘why just share a bug photo’ header and ‘when you can double-job as a temple-tapping meme’ footer.
We’re studiously ignoring the vents for now. We’re working out skin tones in garish pinks. Gotta accentuate them brainpan wrinkles or why are we even here.
A red-yellow tongue and some matching fingernails join a slightly smoothed-out pink-purple face blend with similar skin-tones applied to one hand.
Attempting to make the spiky bits look spikier using orange-into-yellow edge highlights. A couple of tiny, pure white dots have been added to the tips of the uppermost-facing points.
