Weirdly, Zach Snyder’s cut of Justice League and the final Harry Potter film are forever linked in my mind thanks to Nick Cave. Two different songs that elevated both to places they had no rights to be.
Equally weirdly: came to that conclusion when rewatching Dune, no version of which, as far as I’m aware, features Nick Cave.

Hunting eBay for White Dwarf issues I remember from my childhood is a genuine source of delight. An endless sea of Paul Bonner and Jes Goodwin concept art and illustrations.
Books that seem to be things I’ve thought myself–pat on the back, little indulgent nod–only for us to be left mutually baffled by the end. Slightly apologetic that we weren’t who we thought we were.
