I’m determined that 2025 is the year I actually finish painting a thing. Anything. Just one will do. I’m nominating this lil guy. Still a long way to go, but I’ve stopped myself giving up in disgust and re-priming him three separate times now, so that’s progress!

An ork ‘kommando’ model, which is approximately 90% knives, in various stages of finish. Large portions are still white primer, but he has an attempted-NMM blade mostly sketched in and a Punisher-esque logo on his red shirt. His green skin may be either too yellow or just not yellow enough, depending on my mood.

I realise ‘unnecessary frilly bib’ may not immediately scream grimdark, but it definitely feels like a Blanche-ism…

Annoyingly, the thing I like most in this WIP shot is the texture palette 😅

Just the zenithal prime in place here before I intended to start a base coat of contrast red, but this looks so good I’m tempted to go for an old-school pre-‘bone shaded’ Deathwing experiment.
